damule,
I concur that of the "carnival games" STP is probably the best because you only add 1 coin. The problem is that it is hard to find a decent pay table on lower denominations that many of us play. I will play it without the STP just to play multi-hand. I usually start on 10 hand playing 3-5 hands and if my timing is good I will go up in hands. But, if the hits don't come you can crash really quickly.
I love Dream Card for example but at 30 coin (25¢) and low pay table I won't touch it at our local casinos. A friend who normally plays $25 hand/100 play 5¢'s played 5 hand 25¢ DC Deuces Wild 11 hours one night when it first came in. He's a truck driver who brings his lunch bag and will play 10-15 hours at a sitting. Ray told me he hit 22 quad deuces over that period, hit no Royals, and was still down over $1,200 for the night.
BTW: Great pic's.

rover,
Most Total Rewards casinos only have STP DDB in 8/5 at most denominations. However, if you look at all the denoms you can find some gems. At the Harrah's here in Phoenix there is a STP DDB that has 9/5 for dimes but 8/5 for quarters. I play the dimes, it's a better play. Planet Holleywood in Vegas has STP DDB for 9/5 at quarters and up. The M Resort in Vegas used to have 9/6 quarters, but has lowered it to 9/5. There are some good plays out there, you just have to look hard. Some popular video poker casinos don't have good STP though. The Palms for instance has either 6/5 or 7/5, it was so bad I can't remember.

The Taj has it at 9/5 for DDB. I used to play it exclusively for about 5 years and VERY rarely had a winning session. I ow treat this like a video slot game, where the "bonus" round is the multiplier and if I play through 100 bucks without a good multiplier I move on to something else. The good hands with the multiplier are so hard to get. It IS an exciting game and I guess there are people out there that do get the multiplier with a good hand-YAY Damule great wins! OH and I saw a guy at the Taj playing dollars get a royal with an 8 multiplier-32,000 bucks!
