Well I am not sure it matters if patty remembered it exactly right, it was definitely a good run. Too bad it was on nickles.

2,500,000,000,000,000,000,000 (give or take few trillion) to 1 oddsSorry to be a stickler, but you wrote 2.5 sextillion.  With odds like that, one can just about get in that 7th killer hand.  2.5 quintillion has 3 fewer zeros:  2,500,000,000,000,000,000.I should have also written that if the clock doesn't start on the odds until after the first good hand, then we only have to get 5 more great hands in a row.  The odds for that drop down to about 2.2 quadrillion or about 1000 times more likely. To quote the movie Dumb and Dumber, when the goofball was asking about his chances with the pretty redhead and she responded that the odds were quite slim, "So you're telling me there's a chance...YEAH!"

Patty, how exciting to see, even though it was nickels.  WOW!

In other words, as DeNiro says in "Casino":  "This shouldn't happen.  it couldn't happen."  Doesn't this give you some pause to question the randomness?  Which is more likely:  That this happens or that there is some programming in the software that allows this to happen?  The latter is more likely, imo.

So, you saying the machines are programmed to give out multiple big winners therefore making it obvious they are working illegally? Doesn't sound like a very good plan to me.

I didn't mean to imply that the programming was intentional.  All software has glitches.  But now that I see that the account of what happened may not be wholly accurate, this is all just moot speculation.

Always a chance for programming errors. I ran into one on a slot machine once so it does happen.

However, in NV the gaming commission does inspect the code (so I've been told) making it pretty unlikely that anything nefarious could be slipped in.
