The family headed for our favorite haunt Friday evening. Progressive RF was up over $1200. Mrs. L and I had talked on the way over it was OK to get a G statement (been a dry spell) and EOY. Daughter texted mom while we drove over "I'm feeling you'll hit a RF by the time we get their." We played multi-hand 5¢ for several hours while Mrs. L waited for her "special machine" to open up-others were available. Sure enough, machine opens up and 30 minutes late she holds 3 and hits RF.
She tries for progressive AWAK (up over $600). Hits 4 Aces three time but no AWAKs.

Congrats Mrs L! LL Don't leave home without her! Call them special or lucky, I guess we all have some favorite machines where we have hit on past trips!

I guess we all have some favorite machines where we have hit on past trips!
I meet my elderly Mom in Vegas twice a year. She says to me on one trip, "Let's go that place where I hit the deuces for $500 last time." I said, "Well, Mom, that doesn't mean you'll hit them again." So we go anyway over to the Cal, sit down at the available Double Deuces machine right next to the escalator which happens to be the one where she hit the ducks last trip.Within 6 or 7 deals, she gets the deuces.Nuff said.

Addendum:
Three of us have played till 6:30 a.m. and go to our rooms for just a few hours of sleep. SIL has gone to bed around midnight. We have lunch with our daughter/SIL. Mrs. L and I are exhausted. D/SIL head to L'Auberge du Lac to play their weekly money.
Later in the afternoon, we get a text from our Spin Poker Master daughter. She plays 10¢ Spin DW Bonus. She has caught 5 Aces, then 4 deuces. So she moves to 25¢ Spin and hits 5 Aces cashes $1K and starts over. Hopefully, she'll post her pictures. No clue how she keeps up the pace all night and day. Maybe it because she younger than we are.
