Am I missing something? Have never seen the jackpot sign come up for anything under $1200.00? Is this particular to Harrah's?

Farc, for whatever reason AC does handpays from $1,000 and up, even if the amount does not generate a W2G. The casinos' reasons for doing that seem to be twofold: (a) as a marketing ploy to make other players think that more people are winning jackpots and (b) so that the slot attendants can make up for their lower tip incomes

ACH(formerly AC Hilton) doesn't. I am not aware of any of the other casinos position.

When you stop getting hand pays every 10 minutes you know it's time to stop. I went to bed then got up the next morning and continued until about 11 am. Again when the hand pays stop you know you've run your course.
