VP Strategies
Can someone help me with strategies? For instance, do you always keep 2 pair or do you go for the 4 of a kind? Playing the high payout for 4 aces, do you always keep one ace when shown, and hope for the other 3?

First of all, what game type are you playing? The payouts for 2 pair, 4 of a kind, and 4 aces will vary greatly from Jacks or Better to Double Double Bonus, etc.
Rarely would you hold just the Ace if you had something else (a pair, etc) as well. But in some games, if there is no other potential, I will certainly hold a single Ace. Throw away a two pair to go for a 4 of a kind? Yes, in some games I would. But certainly not in all.

So if I'm reading this correctly, in Double Double Bonus you should throw away 2 pair and go for the 4 of a kind?

You only throw away the two pair and go for the quads in DDB IF one of the pair is Aces. Otherwise, you hold the two pair and pray for a full house.
