Re: Miracle Win on a free play
because he had the wherewithal to go against what the sharpies would do and say so knowing he might get crucified for it.Actually, not knowing the paytable, progressives, etc the OP probably made the proper play tossing Aces Full and keeping AAA.Keeping the full house is worth less in the three DDB paytables my software has. Keeping one of the 4s as a kicker is a close second but still inferior to AAA.Congratulations on gambling and getting paid off.(I hate tossing straight flushes like WWW67 and 5OAK like WWW99 in FPDW but I've been paid off at least three times for doing so.)

Thanks deuces I would never have known that and I dont think the OP did either, from the way he was telling it. I know Ive always held the 3 aces thinking an expert would come by and slap my knuckles with a ruler.

congrats, truly. BUT.... I can honestly say, I have hit many royals tossing a winning or "made" hand, including full houses!!! it is not a habit nor a subject I brag about, but the whole point of gambling is to have fun and once in a blue moon I do crazy, often stupid sh*t just because it is fun and breaks the monotony (usually when I am already wayyyy ahead, I will try a crazy gamble once in a while)....consider this experience from a 2003 outing in Downtown Vegas at the old LADY LUCK (remeber that joint?) I was DEALT a full house, Kings full of Queens....playing 25 cent, I was already up about 200 bucks after 90 minutes....I was getting ready to quit, I was buzzed, and my crazy buddy from college was with me.....I tossed the winner and kept the KQ of clubs and hit draw.....and nailed the 10 J A of clubs to win 4000 quarters (back then the old Lady luck still had actual COIN paying machines, and my machine dropped almost 1000 quarters before i had to be hand paid the rest....it was f-ing awesome!) But I can also honestly say I have not tossed a full house ever since, even with 3 aces!!! But I still have destroyed a number of made straight and flush hands to hit royals (WHO HASNT?).....it is all about having fun, it really is. I just want to say though, to the original poster, try not to allow yourself to get into such desperate depressing losing situations again like you were just BEFORE your miracle....set and stick to some losing limits. It really works, and wont get you labled a ganbling addict (LOL)!
