Diamond rewards coupon booklets

Post by hijack »

Today I got a post card in the mail with the dates of the Diamond rewards coupon books.  The dates are Friday April 19 and Saturday April 20.   They used to do this on a Saturday and Sunday.  I guess they changed the dates so that people like me who can only come down on Sunday will not get a booklet.    Thank you total rewards.     They are also giving out  jackets at the same time  but from the picture it does not look like any thing I would wear.   In the fine print at the bottom of the card it said  'Total Rewards Tier Level does not guarantee eligiblity for this promotion'  So i guess that means they will only give it to,  the diamond players  they want to.

You guys are Diamonds. Talk with your host, or VIP Services, at your usual casino, and ask them to get you the stuff on Saturday and hold it to Sunday when you can come and pick it up. Don't forget, those folks work for YOU.

Total rewARDS, unless you travel to Caesars properties in Vegas, is no longer a worthwhile program.   Caesars/Harrahs Corporation is in so much debt that even with its sheer sizr, it is in perilous shape.  Just research it.....anyway, as a result of this debt, the company is slashing and cutting anywhere and everywhere it can, and in downtrodden markets like AC this makes a bad situation worse. Like I said, if you can make it to Vegas a few times a year with your total rewards diamond or better tier level, then it is still worth it there, simply because the Vegas Properties in the corporation know how to service their customers, and their hosts will do anything in their power to help their customers.  Vegas has the best and brightest in the corporation working in their properties, so that says it all....AC is where all the malcontents and trainees and mediocre execs on the brink of retirement or cirrhosis of the liver get sent.....I'm serious! Me personally, I could care less about either my coupon book or this cheapo jacket.   But even if I did, no way would I ask a AC host to hold it for me.....its not worth the aggravation to even ask, they most likely will tell me NO, YOU GOTTA SHOW UP ON THE APPOINTED DAYS!    They switched the days to Friday-SATURDAY in AC because, in part, they get more room revenue for Friday stays and they have larger staffs already scheduled to work Friday-Saturdays so they do not need to call in extra staff on Sunday to handle the distribution chores for the jackets and stuff.....believe it or not, in AC, if the Showboat or Harrahs or Ballys can get by with 5 or 6 fewer workers on any given shift they WILL!!!    Did anyone notice that they completely SHUT DOWN and LOCK UP Bally's Bus Center from 3 am until 7:30 am???  This allows them to not have the two employees who used to staff the center during this hours, which means if you want to catch the 6:30 am Greyhound, or the 5:30 am Anerican Charter Bus from the Ballys center, you need to walk around and enter thru the back garage and stand outside by the appropriate gate....try doing this in January!      Desperate indeed!

Since Caesars ttok over they have done nothing but take. The Diamond cards means nothing. Now they are rasing the tier score to 15,000. Other then paying to get into the club I can still get free parking and reeon rooms with the platium card.  With the way the machine have been Im not getting my Diamond this year

Not to rain on your post Alexis but you are only telling a portion of the story. You failed to mention that they also offer an extra tier point bonus for hitting certain tier credit milestones in a gaming day, this greatly adds to a person's tier credit score over the course of the year.

True but that assumes one plays for an extended period of time on a high value or multiple line machine. We only play single line, quarter machines and usually don't accumulate enough tier points to kick in the bonus even after a number of hours.

First, I wasn't assuming anything in my response. If a person goes to a location where there are several CET properties and spends a few days there, earning the tier credit bonuses should be relatively easy considering all tier credits earned during at a CET property over the course of a gaming day count.

What you are saying is valid if someone goes to Vegas or AC on a gaming trip. However, here in AZ we have one CET property, AK-Chin. Since its close by (within 1 hour), my wife and I used to go a couple of times a month, sometimes more often. Neither of us ever accumulated the amount of tier credits in a session required for a bonus. This is/was especially true when we play bingo in addition to machines. Combined with the increased dollar amount now required to get a tier credit, it is another reason to go elsewhere. Like everything else, the new policy is good for some and not others.
