Facebook.com lockups?

Why doe the website lock up when reloading a game, and at the bottom of the window I see "waiting for www.facebook.com"....? I don't want this two things connected. How do I make it stop?

What web browser / version are you running?  For example, Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 20, etc.
