Bossier City Weekend
Per my last post, Sweet J & I had made plans for a weekend trip to Shreveport/Bossier City to collect either a Green Egg or a Yeti. It seemed that the gift may be all we were going to collect as the return on play was dismal....until....I held one ace and my breath...

Maybe the rising of the Red River hadn't dampened my luck! With this boost in my spirit, I arose the next morning with expectation. I went to the video poker machines in the bar area to try my luck at the progressives. The bar area was closed for maintenance. My spirits dipped a little but I played elsewhere and returned to the area a few hours later. The bar area was open and armed with gifts. This beautiful one-card draw landed me 4292 little gifts.

By now, I am feeling a little light on my feet from this winnings euphoria. I continued to play and later Saturday evening, this caught me off guard. No joke! And no joker!!!

By bedtime Saturday night, the Horseshoe had welcomed me royally! I awakened the next morning and decided to play a little before leaving. It felt good to be welcomed royally, but they went above board when they decided to welcome me royally.....in spades!

Now, I am floating on air; but, let me mention that Sweet J is eerily silent. I have a feeling that she is saving all of her winning for our July Vegas trip when she will be celebrating her birthday.
The winnings showed up on the video poker machine I was playing....but WE (Sweet J & I) had a wonderful, winning Bossier City Weekend and we picked up a Yeti 110 cooler to boot!

Wow, these are the kind of weekends that keep you going back. I was there last month and I know exactly the bar you mention. I spend about what you won and just got a handful of rag quads. I feel like you owe me something for pumping the place up for you

Three royals in one weekend? Wow...
I just want one royal in a year...
Was in Tunica this past weekend, most casinos had a upward slant as well.
