Three Days in South Florida
My wife and I are leaving next Monday on another video poker road trip. This time we are going to South Florida. We're staying at the Hollywood Hard Rock and will try to play at all the casinos in the area. We've been to Hollywood, Coconut Creek and Gulfstream before, but want to check out the small ones just to see what they are offering. The Hollywood Hard Rock has a bank of quarter airport deuces and the last time we were at Gulfstream the odds were pretty good for such a small place. This will be fun as my wife will play max coin quarters the whole time and I'll play Cheap Strategy 50 cents and dollars. We'll see who comes out better. I kind of hope she does as she is a lot more fun when she's winning.

So far things are going pretty well. We found a whole bank of quarter airport deuces at the Hollywood Hard Rock and we've been hammering them pretty hard. Two quad deuces and one real Royal Flush this afternoon. Both quad deuces were mine. My wife hit the royal this afternoon and she's pretty happy about it.

Great job so far guys. If you two can hit like that up at Mohegan, I will retract my many posts about the newer chips being anything but random. .....Well maybe I will retract them.... ....Any Multi-Strike games down there. I would love to see one of you hit the Deuces quads on the 3rd or 4th lines... The lone nickel one up at Mohegan still has your name on it. The other day a weekend only player who was clueless on which cards to keep on Double Bonus Deuces Wild tossed a 5,6,7, of spades, kept an Ace ten of hearts, and hit a real Royal on the 3rd line. Just shows in the short run as you say, " Anything can and will happen "

The master is having a stellar stay. I will write CVS in marker on an index card leaning against my machine. The way to a nice long session, even on JOB.

We are still smiling. Deuces quit for me today, so I switched to my old buddy DDB. I never play it anymore, but I wanted to try something different for a while. First thing up, I hit a quad deuce (wouldn't you know it). Anyway, I hit 4 more quads in about an hour with one four aces. Got most of my money back and I'm good to go for tomorrow. The wife's still ahead, but I'm coming up fast in the rear view mirror! We are having a great time casino hopping in South Florida. The odds are pretty typical for the east coast, but the Airport Deuces is much appreciated. Kind of like Colorado without the snow. It's great playing max coins for a change.
