Sweet J Crapped Out!

Well....we visited Shreveport. We began our excursion on Thursday determined to earned enough points (10,000 to be exact) to take home a 60" television. Goal in mind, we played. On Thursday, I hit 4 aces, NO KICKER, for $800 to keep us playing. (No jackpot, no picture!) Friday, we visited other casinos so that we could loosen up for the jackpot that was coming. We returned to the Horseshoe and I crept up on my jackpot with a small $800 hit followed by a $400 hit. The jackpot eluded us! We were progressing in our pursuit of the 60" television but our pursuit of a jackpot was not progressing as well. Saturday morning, I shifted my main focus from the television to the jackpot and voila!

Seems as though those jackpots are jealous and like to be put first in my thoughts because 30 minutes later....

I must say this was a good trip. I checked a few items off the list...
     *Snagged a jackpot or two.
     *Earned that 60" television
     *Caught up to Sweet J....as you will notice, I had not mentioned her name at all. Seems as though I carried her on my back the whole time. (Check on me if I don't post again!)

Beautiful jackpots. At that level, you're not even upset over not investing that fifth dollar on them either. Four grand and a grand television valued at a grand, at least.
