The royal cycle
Last week I hit my first royal where I threw all 5 away and it came in. Have had them dealt, holding 2,3 and 4 to the royal but never holding just one card. Was wondering if anyone out there has hit one all 6 ways?

Nope. Great cycle. I've only covered two of the six.

I am sure I have had this. I mean I have played a lot of VP over the years so is bound to happen. I do remember drawing a a royal after discarding all 5 at the Cal in downtown Vegas. At the old Vegas Club I once had 3 royals in 3 days ( or maybe 4 days) and I was just playing single line VP. Also I only played maybe a couple hours there each day.So anyone who plays enough VP will get royals every way possible. One thing I have never got though is a sequential royal flush while playing a game that gives a bonus for this. I have had them when no bonus was offered.

Yeah, it's a bit surprising you don't have all 6 wildman. The "throwaway royal" is by far the toughest.

I have been playing a lot of hands per month about 60,000 single line. And have been hitting them more often then the norm so that will mean I might have used them up for the rest of the year.I do play a lot of DW so its harder to hit the 1 card hold in that game since you toss all 5 many times per hour.

Yeah, i forgot you play a good amount of deuces. If you played exclusively deuces, then you'll never get the royal from one card unless you play suboptimally.

The throwaway is one in 649,000. I would keel over.

I've never had one after throwing away all the cards, but I've had 5 dealt royals so far in my lifetime ranging from $62.50 to $4,000. They are all a surprise.

Jemist, have you been playing long? You should click in a year or two, given minimal luck.
