I doubt this will ever happen again...

I doubt this will ever happen again...

Just back from a late night trip to Mohegan Sun. I was playing in the non smoking section at a bank of 8 roughly 99% machines. I almost had the entire place to myself. Playing single coin quarters, I hit deuces quads on the Airport Deuces game within about ten minutes. I played a hand or two betting five but got nothing so I cashed out and played the machine just to my right. In less than a minute on single coin, Deuces Quads hits again. The next two hands betting five again produced nothing so I cashed out and moved over to the very next machine to the right. In less than two minutes, I hit a Wild Royal on single coin. I then played five for two hands and on the second hand at five, Deuces Quads hit again.    Everything got ice cold after that which all of us know more often than not happens. I gave back about fifty bucks on the remainder of the bank of eight machines and moved on to try some Double Down Stud. My mistake as usual was to not quit and just enjoy the rest of the evening. I actually had two shots at 5k on the Stud game, but was only able to pull a regular flush out of one of them. At least the trip didn't break the bank this time. I was just wondering if anyone else has ever hit the same quads in any game three times in 3 or 4 minutes. Too bad I don't have a 3 minute video of the hits. None were dealt. The last hit was drawing one card and the first two hit by drawing two cards.

A few years ago I hit quad deuces three times on the same machine within 30 minutes.  I'm sure the players that came after me thought the machine was rigged because it probably didn't hit again for three weeks!   I have hit two on the same machine since then, but three has been my record.  I have hit three quad deuces in a day's play many times.  One of the craziest things I have ever seen was an incredible run of full houses my wife once had.    She was playing Jacks and hit a solid streak for about 10 minutes straight.  That's a lot more fun than losing.

That quick no. I've got 4 quads in about 10 min. of single line, but they weren't that repetitive. Nice streak!

Fantastic results. You finished up about $900 I gather. I don't play exotic VP, so I could not quite monetize the day you had. How many times can we say it? If only I quit. It's become a broken record. I simply cannot sustain a gain after the two hour mark!

Only recently the 3 quads I got within an hour span were all 4s. I was playing Jacks or Better and not a Bonus type game. I was not able to foresee it coming to benefit from it.

Actually, ended up a little below even. That part entirely my fault. The first 2 quad deuces paid fifty bucks each since it was single coin and the last one was 250-. I had been down a little, but had I quit, I would have gone home plus 325. The Double Down Stud game which I love finished me off faster than those who went down at the OK Corral. Edited to add.....By the way, fascinating history for those that don't know much about it. Wikipedia has some great stories about the the entire story both before and after.

Glad I'm still enjoying my battles with vanilla JOB. Single coin quads put quite the damper on the hits! On my level, $6 for the one coin. Same result with me. Kept playing after four and two coin quads. Lost $20 getting a one coin quad.
