I was just trying to get a feel for where DM was forthe month. Geez, it's not like I'ma asking the guy for transparency or tax returns; I'll leave that to DaBurglar.I never asked anyone for "TAX RETURNS"  ....... you really excel at being disingenuous and  distorting the truth, huh Ted?
DaBurglar I didn't say that you have, up to this date, asked anyone for their tax returns but I was just doing some forward thinking for when you do.
How many people besides yourself do you think actually "got" that insult?   How many laughed (or are laughing) when they read it?Did you get my earlier post in another thread about how you are playing to an audience of "NONE"?   Seriously, over half your total posts are simply instances of YOU needing to get the last word in and posting whatever first pops into that clouded mind of yours.....typically something inane like this post above.     Why can't you just NOT do it?   why not Just Stop?

I actually appreciate Ted's volunteer accounting. No sarcasm whatsoever was intended. Dan is so prolific that it's kind of fun to keep up with his travails. If he provided a YTD line it would be perfect for this armchair observer.
The tax returns line was indeed funny. If there is to be sniping, I prefer short and sweet to his sprawling diatribes.

Could not agree any more. Cant force myself threw all of that anymore. Besides the fact its the same over and over its way to much to digest. I have been here a few years and sometimes I wonder if he is just cutting and pasting from back when I came to todays argument. I do give him points for never giving up but bending things on every word to try and prove your point goes overboard for a VP forum.

+150... .25c 10/6 DDB...November 1, decided to go back to 10/6 DDB again. Hit a bottom of the ninth home run to save the game with A4AAA. Nice to start the month with a win and with a quad A with kicker. Hopefully there will be more to come. I did play .25c FPDW for a while towards the end of October, almost hitting a quad deuce every session except one maybe two...why didn't I play Loose Deuces instead (100.15% ER and 2500 coins for the deuces) I ask myself? Sigh...But the problems I have had in the past with the game fpdw came back to me. Mainly that it bores me, and  without the quad deuces or royal, or even sometimes with a quad deuce, wins are small, losses are usually bigger. It's a grind to the royal game. But a thought came to me. That perhaps games like JOB and deuces wild (any variety) are popular to pro's because they grind for the cash-back, the mailers, the points, etc. Since they play higher denominations, this makes sense...but not necessarily for quarter players. Most of our money comes from the game itself, hence why alot of quarter players play the more variant games like DDB, TDB, Loose Deuce, etc... Just a thought.Tedlark: Your calculations for Sep. and Oct. are correct. I have Oct. slightly more negative at -1,118. There could of been some slight miscalculation someplace. But close enough. Aug and Sep were very good months, let's just say, much more than Sep, so I think a losing month like October was unfortunate but due. The night of the 1k loss was a good example how one night of bad choices and chasing could ruin an entire month. Going from .25c BP to $2 BP to chase the losses was dumness. Maybe too cocky from the wins I was getting previously. But making sure to clamp down on it this month. So...onwards and upwards. Hope November is positive for everyone.Cheers

Cockiness exists at all denominations. I got pretty full of myself yesterday, the day after hitting a max JOB straight flush. I went to the casino next door, a notorious money pit for me to boot, Caesars AC. Result: I lost the $62 and $50 more in two hours. No quads, no fun, just a grind to nowhere. FPJOB comps are non existent. I am quitting the place for good. Maybe an overreaction to a place that gave me my first Royal Flush in Jan, but a mere fluke. Steady losing since.

DM nice hit on the AWAK, those usually put a smile on my face too. You're right and so is FAA about being cocky. It doesn't take long to start thinking that you're infallible and it takes even less time to be brought back to reality. Positive thinking cannot combat if the cards are just not falling your way that session.

Continued good luck to you.

-293... .25c 10/6 ddb...
Almost's but not quite kind of session. 1 quad 3's and 2 quad A, no kickers, and not much else in this 3 hr struggle. Could of been better, could of been worse, on to the next.

Oh yeah, it can always be better or worse. Glad you could stomach the $100 hourly loss. $50 is my limit, and that's stretching it.
