Re: Saw A Huge Win Today
I think the problem you have with Dancer is that he proves that good and smart players can actually beat video poker.
you state you deal in facts, i await the proof that someone is consistently beating the casinos at VP, in the current era of reduced paytables and comps.
Fair enough Notes. But the people beating VP are not necessarily playing on the reduced pay tables. There are places in Nevada where full pay still exists. As for the rest of the country it would be hard...very hard to beat the game.

i accept your admision that you should hold every statement you make, to the same standard you hold others to. you have speculated why i do not like dancer. frankly, i could care less about whether he wins or anything else about him. to be specific, i would like to quote exact date and comment he made. but, while i can search my past comments and yours, there appears to be no way to search dancers comments. it could be i am doing something wrong, but i would welcome someone else attempting the same thing. a number of months ago, someone posted a picture that showed a 'big' win that his wife had. his wife was thrilled and excited. of course, some folks immediately come out with their magnifying glasses, looking for any criticism they can find. play the wrong machine, the wrong game, the wrong bet, save the wrong cards, whatever they can point out. dancer had to enter his two cents. his statement to the poster was critical and i believe his said something to the affect the wife would be better off not playing. the poster/wife were not bragging about their skill, they were not trying to influence anyone else and they were certainly not trying to make money off other posters, as dancer does. his comments were out of line. where i come from, no man should be taking shots at another man's wife or kids.

I was at the Bellagio one time and a guy had flown in from Russia to play the Bellagio progressive...all the machines at once! He paid a group of locals 15 bucks an hour to play 10 machines as fast as they could until he hit the progressive. This went on for days. The casino would bring food on carts for the group, security to guard the players machines, and provided massages for tired players. All on this guy's dime. We think it was a consortium that invested to see if they could make a profit. It took over a week according to my slot host. He won 1.3 million...and spent over 1.4 to do it!
