Eduardo, like I said in my last post, right now I mostly play .5 - $1 because I don't have the bankroll to play much higher either. If you play .5 - $1 it only cost $345 to play that. I change the 25. level alittle because its the 3rd level I would play 150 credits, but 150 credits on .25 is $37.50. Its pretty hard to put that in to a machine and pretty stupid, so I just play 160 credits on .25. Thats $40, alot easier to put in, so I actually play 960 credits when I play .5 - $1.

Plus what you were saying about 1000 sessions, I agree with you, thats why on 1 of Singers plays when you get into the higher levels is to throw away a middle pair and just keeps the low pair. Example: 88443, throw away the 8's and go for the 4's. I was doing that all the time, and I only hit the 4 of a kind doing that once. I started thinking how many times that I threw away a winning hand for my money back or maybe even making a full house. I'm sure I lost way more than that 1 4 of a kind paid me.

I don't want to come off sounding like I am knocking Fa La La La La.... La la la la or anything, because I'm not. Like a said I have met him a few times and even played when he was with me. I did win that night. I think his luck rubbed off on me somehow, lol. He is a very nice guy to talk to in person. I know he comes off abrasive on these sites and maybe some of his comments should be toned down a bit, but he seems to be a really good guy. He has never asked me for 1 red cent anytime I have ever met him. In fact, 1 time he even paid for all my drinks, I didn't spend a dime. If he saw this he would know exactly who I am by my screen name. I've just never had the success that he has had or claims he has had. I have never really had the proper bankroll to make a run at it like he does either, so that could be it possibly. Maybe I'm just not as lucky as he his either. I truly believe some people are luckier than others. I feel his systems can work to an extent, so thats why I tried to play off of his systems and come up with my own.

As far as hot and cold cycles and special plays, he has told me a few things to look for in a cold cycle. Such as too many dealt 3 of a kinds, 4 to flush and 2 pair and not making the hand. Being dealt 4 to the royal and not making it, he says is a big sign. Basically stuff like that. I don't know if any of that is true, but I have no reason to doubt what he is saying unless I can prove its wrong. It does seem like when I see some of these hands alot, I do end up losing. Maybe its just coincidence or maybe I'm looking for those hands too much now. As far as special plays, I gave you 1 earlier, plus I don't claim to know perfect strategy or even close to it. So some of the things he says was stuff I was already doing. Example, just holding the Ace and not other high cards as well. I think he claims there are a couple thousand special plays or something like that. I don't know about that, if there are he hasn't told me all those. There might be a few things he has left out, maybe thats why I haven't had the success he has had.

As far as what I came up with, it does hit most of the time, but when I do lose it really brings me back down. I haven't hit any Royals yet either though, so maybe if I can get a couple of those, I will be alright. I'll just keep trying when I can and see what happens.

Hey, there is no system that will beat a negative machine!  If you play a positive machine perfectly you will systematically win over time.   The only system that does work is to deviate from optimum play - that costs you money.

That is right. Another thing a progression does is increase volatility. That means you have a chance to stay ahead on negative plays for a longer time but eventually you will lose. It also means you can go WAY behind real fast on a positive play.
The fact is if the machine deals independent, random hands as required by law then no betting scheme can change the expectation over time.

On this progression system that has been discussed on this thread, I would like to know if you are ahead at any demon. level do you cash out and start anew at the next level or do you roll the credits over to the next level ? Thanks! assuming you've won at the previous level, of course.

I'm waiting for a better variety of games in the super triple game such as deuces wild bonus and bonus deluxe. I've not seen this game in any Las Vegas casino yet. Have you ?---CWA---

I play the games on this website because I want to see how long a bankroll will last if I decide to play in a casino. For example, everytime I play multi strike deuces wild on this site, I lose my money quickly because there are many hands where I don't get a good payout. I found that you need to hit a good hand pretty early in your play to sustain yourself. Today I was playing and hit four deuces on the second pay line so I came out a winner. But every other time, I have lost the bankroll. However, if I play bonus poker or jacks or better, my money lasts a longer time. I use the games on this site to determine whether or not I will play them in a casino. I was in a/c last week and played multi strike poker on a quarter machine and played for two hours winning and losing but I had the best time. I took out 100.00 from the machine on a 20.00 bill. It's because of this site that I would ever decide to play this game. I don't find I win any more playing the games on this site. But I can also tell when there is a down cycle. For instance, never getting anything further on a pair, four to a flush or anythijng that you would ordinarily go for. It lasts for about 15-20 hands and you hope you have enough credits to sustain you thru the cycle. But there is definitely a down cycle in vp. valerie

Yes, there are inherently more down cycles than up cycles in VP. This is due the probabilities of winning hands being somewhat low and the paybacks of the more likely hands also very low. This is why you last longer playing JOB. The additional payback for two pair and the increased payback for flushes and full houses over bonus games is what generates this kind of behavior.
Of course, it doesn't always work out that way as I was crushed today playing gold ole Bonus Poker.
