Re: Trip Report 2Q Onward
Notes, pay tables are worse at all denoms. Bad trade off. The point I attempted to make was that this woman used machine I left as her damn ATM!! This is your takeaway?!

chain smoking woman, seems that bothered you and was simply letting you know that 2nd floor has smoke free VP.

Correct, but the chain smoking was simply the straw that broke my back. Much more alarmed about leaving a cash cow.

When you leave a machine, for whatever reason,it's best for your mental health to move far enough that you can't see what the next person's results are.

Ironically, you had just said on another thread that leaving a machine was superstition. I have always been a proponent of Quad and Cash Out. I just watched someone else Spin and Cash In. And in and in and in. I think that you have to be burned like this once to get you to reconsider your position. As the saying goes, a conservative is a liberal who got mugged.

FAA I am not a proponent of your "quad and cash out" outlook. Just this past Friday night while playing 10 hand TDB at Hollywood Casino in Joliet, IL I caught quad 2's with a kicker and 4 hands later I caught quad 4's with a kicker. I left up in the low 4 figures, not bad for a 2 1/2 hour session that I also caught AWAK earlier on in the session.

Congratulations, Ted. Befitting my name, I am prone to take flight asap after a nice hit. But in light of personally witnessing Sunday's cornucopia for the chain smoker, I will certainly be more inclined to remain on the tarmac. Another tough lesson at the airport.

Sat was a big losing trip. I did turn my $25 FP into $55 at Bally's. But I stayed too long and gave it back plus $10. Lost my $25 table bet. Lunch. ATM. I lost another $60, then $40 next door at Caesars for good measure. Progressive only $1,003. I should have stayed away of course, but could not resist temptation. My quads were only two and three coins. It was not satisfying at all to hit them. I only berated myself for guessing wrong on timing. At this rate, I'll give back my Royal before Labor Day! Are premium hits more frequent with dollar play?

Sat was a big losing trip. I turned my $25 into $25 FP at Caesars. Lost it and $35 more. Won $25 in craps FP. Lost it back at VP. Lunch. $60 ATM. Determined to stay at Bally's machine until I hit a quad. It finally came after $900 coin in. Over 1,000 hands. Is this the same casino which RFed me in four minutes four months ago and dealt me a quad in a flash last month? I broke my own rule and dipped into min coin. Of course quad hit. I then lost 75% of that at the adjacent machine. 50% dollar JOB play going forward with CS. Quads come in a third the time. Final result will be slightly better and I don't have to be chained to the machine for my favorite common premium hand to appear. Full pay quarter JOB isn't all it's cracked up to be. Love those ubiquitous $6.25 per hour theoretical loss quotes! The pain of 99.54% is real, not an innocuous trivial amount.
