Finally a nice hit at Mohegan Sun
Most know I have given up on hitting Royals at Mohegan Sun, but I really like the place and its employees. I have given up almost entirely on the so called 99 percent games and have fun playing the 97 to 98 percent Double Down Stud games or the spin poker Bonus Deuces Wild games. I was able to put a small but nice dent in my results for 2016 the other night. I was playing Deuces Wild on the Double Down Stud game. The machine was being pretty good, but I hadn't hit any of the top hands. My bet had progressed from 5 quarters to 6,7,8,9,10,11 the 12 quarters and I was still staying about even or just a little better. When that happens and you don't have to go into your pocket for hours one of two things always happens. Either the machine will suddenly turn ice cold and you will go broke in no time, or a really nice hand will come in. I was lucky enough to hit the dealt quad deuces with 12 quarters in which paid me 2400 bucks. I for a change was also smart enough to pack it in except play one 20 on another DDS machine which I lost. I should also note that I have been hitting my quad deuces on the DDS stud game right on schedule about every 50k hands or so for quite some time. So where are the Royals on any form of draw poker. Wish I could tell you. Also just as an aside, I haven't had a dealt Royal on any DDS game since 2001 and as a rough guess about 3 million hands played on DDS alone in that time period. It could even be 4 million, but I am sure it is at least 3. Would have been nice to have hit 5 or 6 in that time period which I should have and with 5 quarters bet, each would have paid 5 grand. For now though, I am happy with this win. Hoping against hope it will repeat in the next session or two. Like also posted today, Mohegan Sun is a beautiful place to visit, stay at, eat, go to shows etc. Just be careful when playing vp there.

Congratulations. I love a dealt top hand, even if only a JOB quad. Good thing you worked your way up to a twelve quarter bet!

First W-2G since Jan. Thanks for the well wishes. As a side note. I was there by myself. Had the Mrs. card in. The staff had no problem with that. Whoever is sitting at the machine gets paid with proper ID. The only thing they had to do was a manual W-2G. Evidently when the card in matches the person, their computer system spits out the W-2G auto. Who knows if I would have hit with my card in. You know what my guess would be. Hope they don't send another W-2G in though as if the Mrs. had hit. They said no, but who knows with computers. I did catch them on one error. They had my driver's license off by one digit. Had them correct the form and initial. You have to check everything nowdays and double check again.
