Just got back from South Point Casino. Haven't played there in ages. It's Bob Dancers hang out. I found the machines kind of scattered all over there place. Plenty of NSUD all over the place, with full points which is cool. But game speed is slow. Can't play the game as fast. Up +50 played .50c single line nsud. May go again, may not. It's very far from where i live and I know there are more good games to be had closer to my home. Starting to venture out a bit to earn some damn points/comps.Cheers

Can you apply the damn points toward taking the dam tour? You know; the one where you can take all the dam pictures you want?

Sorry.....

I heard many times that NSUD is one of the games that comes so natural to Mr. Dancer, knows the strategy down to every penalty situation. People attest he plays it at a fast rate at 1000 hands an hour at the SouthPoint. I think you might have to look around harder for that fast machine. The newer the machine, the chances are it is faster.

I would consider the SouthPoint to be a viable place to play.

I only played on two machines, so I wouldn't doubt it was a small sample size. But they were slow. Playing 1k hands an hour would be doable, but not easy on those. I'll give it another shot at some point and walk around a bit more. South point is GU (geographically undesirable) for me at the moment, and in addition, can find just as good games closer by. But I will give south point the credit it deserves, it has good video poker.Don't get me wrong, south point a very viable place to play for sure.  No disagreement there.Cheers

DAAnMAAn, I completely understand about the location when you are in North Las Vegas and the SouthPoint is located on the southern end of the city near Henderson.

About the speed of play, I do not know if Mr. Dancer ever plays two machines at once like some people are capable of doing. Regular playing speed is about 600 hands an hour, you'd purposely have to speed up to get to a 1000 hands per hour pace.

Since you are near Aliante and Cannery, you should enjoy them while you can before Boyd takes over operations. I do not know when that will happen. You do have good video poker options near you.

Video Poker...The Great Humbler :)Got a little cocky tonight and the vp gods rained down their wrath as they should. Went to 5 play quarter ugly deuces and was a bad time to run ugly. -$540. Not all was on 5 play, played some .2c 10 play bp progressive. Not great by any means, but was supposed to fill in some time. Also a bit on fpdw while walking out the door.So...getting close to the end of August...up $493 for the month. May take the rest of the month off to lick the wounds of the vengeful vp gods (7 days), may not. We will see. Cheers

Up down, up down, huh DAAnMAAn? Look at it this way: the casinos made your car payment this month?

Played fpdw and hit two quad deuces last night. Details on my YouTube videos with channel name shown below. It was a long battle though and only wound up +$108.75...but considering the alternative, I'll take it.
Cheers
PS as for the question, as of now, up +602 for the month. Enough for the car payment and throw in cox cable bill lol

Good for you DAAnMAAn, there's nothing wrong with taking those small profits as they add up nicely.
