Recreational VP Forum
A word to the wise is sufficient.
I once worked on a farm that had electrified fences to keep the animals from wandering.
Most animals caught on to them pretty quick. Not the mules. Such is
life.
I hate to bring this up again, but we have two strategy
forums on this website. This is the Recreational Forum. When I came on
this website years ago, this forum did not exist. I asked to have it
created so that players who aren't consumed with VP math could have a place
to discuss their game without butting heads with those who are. The
owners of this website were kind enough to oblige us.The vast
majority of VP players in the world don't use math based strategies exclusively and
they enjoy the game just fine. Believe it or not, a few even make a
little money. If you believe we are stupid or paying your bills,
that's your opinion. All we ask is that you give us a place to discuss
VP as we see it in peace. Thank you!

Just like the Mule, I am afraid this will fall on deaf ears. Some people just can't help but stick in their 2 cents worth where it doesn't belong. If only they knew that 2 cents is worth much less than 2 cents today.

Phil, I remember when you suggested the idea of a recreational forum. Many of us supported the proposal in the belief that it would allow us to discuss the recreational/entertainment aspects of VP apart from the specifics of mathematical strategy, etc. Let's keep it that way.

The outcome of this game is controlled mostly by luck. I don't believe VP math owes anyone anything, but I don't care if someone else does. Sometimes I think we lose sight of what is actually happening. The RNG is just a computer cycling through a group of numbers millions of times a second. We are betting we can stop it at a particular combination of numbers so we can get paid. There is no math equation or methodology in the world that will force it to stop where we want it to. As humans we always try to reason things out and put order to our experiences. By definition, there is no order to true randomness and no one can predict that a negative game will be a loser or a positive game a winner when you play them. It's a silly game that grown people enjoy playing, so enjoy it.

Ignorance is bliss until your daddy takes your tbird away. Recreational doesn't mean Willy nilly, helter skelter. The way this thread starts out, there should be no reason for anyone to ever post here, because there's nothing to talk about.

We all wish we could control infinity as it relates to vp. Try as we may, we can't.....but hopefully, we will sure have fun trying.

There are strategies that will extend your play giving you more chances at a jackpot, but nothing that will make them happen any faster or more frequent. VP math always allows for the possibility of losing, no matter how skilled you are. This sentence should be printed on the front of every VP strategy book.I really don't want to get into a VP math debate again. It's nobody's business how we play VP with our own money.

We just play for fun. Dad and I compare our daily scores even though we play the daily contest, we never really do very well but it is a friendly competition. Always enjoyable.
